Officer Gutierrez – March’s Mentor of the Month

Officer Gutierrez has been a LAPD officer for 15 years, with 12 of them being in the Southeast Division. It was a little over 3 years ago when she met her mentee match, Brittney. Since then, Gutierrez has

been an exceptional mentor and a great team player as she often helps out other mentors by bringing their mentees along on outings. Her goal as a mentor is to be an endless, unwavering source of support for her mentee. She wants to be there for Brittney and see her grow with each year. Gutierrez’s intentions as a mentor speaks to Operation Progress’  overall mission in seeing our Scholars’ through reaching their full potential and beyond.
